Accessibility statement
How we work with digital accessibility
At Hafa, we actively work to make our website hafa.eu accessible and usable for as many people as possible. We want everyone to be able to access our information, navigate the site, and carry out their business.
Our work is guided by the requirements of the European Accessibility Directive (EAA). Our technical implementation is based on the international Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 level AA and the European standard EN 301 549.
We integrate accessibility aspects into design, development, testing, and content. The assessment in this report has been made using checklists and testing tools in accordance with these guidelines.
Accessibility status
hafa.eu partially meets accessibility requirements.
We have identified areas where the website works well from an accessibility perspective, but there are also areas where improvements are needed. Some initiatives have already been started, while others are planned to be implemented during the year.
Known accessibility issues
General interface
• Not all functions are accessible via keyboard.
Content & media
• Not all images have alt texts describing their purpose.
• Decorative images are not consistently marked correctly (e.g., with alt="").
Navigation & structure
• There is no option to jump directly to the main content (e.g. “Skip to content”).
• Menus and drop-downs do not work fully with keyboards and screen readers.
Purchase flow & forms
• There is currently no option to pause or extend sessions (e.g. in the event of a timeout).
What we are doing to address the shortcomings
The shortcomings are known and will be addressed as part of our ongoing improvement work. We work systematically with accessibility in our development projects and integrate the requirements early in the design and coding process.
How we tested the website
The latest accessibility review was conducted internally by Hafa during the second quarter of 2025. The review was based on a review of technical controls, the use of automated tools, and manual testing in accordance with WCAG 2.2.
